Like the OP said, you need to sign in first or you will get that message. What I did was click on one of the other weeks and sign in from there.

I signed in using the Week 37 link on their website, then went to the link for the week 38 competition and it worked fine.

Thanks for this. It took me to issue 34. Try this link for issue 38
Not sure if you need to log in via this link first before following my issue 38 link. (Hope that makes sense).
