I was wondering if anyone could help me my 14 month old daughter loves juice she wont drink milk whatsoever no matter how hard i try, the only juice she drinks is the heinz baby juice which costs me bout £1.45 for a 750ml bottle i water this down to make it last longer but shes going thru at least 3 bottles of this a day and its costing me a fortune, i've tried giving her some normal sugar free squash but she somehow knows theres no sugar and throws the bottle on the floor, if anyone has got any suggestions i would be more than grateful

    Thanx:o

my 12mth DS also drinks the heinz baby juice. i fill a beaker with water, and just put a little spalsh of the juice in- barely enough to colour it, and he drinks it. I find one of the 750ml bottles lasts me 7-10days (kept in the fridge)

I would try watering it down, gradually adding more and more water. and perhaps also try her with watered down value juices as another poster suggested.

    good luck

oh- and make sure shes getting plenty of calcium in other ways- yogurt, cheese etc, if she wont drink milk.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

  • I don't know if this would help.

I used to hate milk as a child, however, I used to like the milk I got at school in little cartons. It did taste different, it wasn't just because it was in a carton. I then progressed to liking proper milk.

Have you tried her on UHT milk?
