With Toshiba being so confident about their new laptop designs, and saying how they have been building reliable designs for years I thought maybe it would be possible for them to fix my 'old' laptop (Mid 2000).
Basically, I have the following problems
'Floppy' screen (The hinges have worn out)
One RAM socket totally dead
PCMIA 'buttons' have fallen out
Do you think I could take them for a ride and use their latest advertising methods to help me or will they just reject me right out of the door

in my experience toshiba are pretty good with out of warranty stuff. Some stuff acts like a recall on a car, they'll no about it and repair it FOC. I've even had them replace a motherboard for me.kicking squealing gucci little piggy.0

Well i asked them to repair my faulty PCMCIA socket when the laptop was out of warranty and they send me a lovely quote for £140, the part was only worth £5 and the rest was for delivery and labour costs!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"
