My youngest daughter has just started full time in school so I now have more free time on my hands and would like to feel a bit more useful.
My sight is somewhat limited but isn't too bad indoors and I'm good with computers.
I'm also good at writing and quite enjoy it too. I'm very good at adult fiction ;-) lol
I don't have to work as my partner works full time and we do ok but I want to contribute a little more.
I am very good at sales but I don't enjoy hard selling at all and I don't like the sound of anything where you have to set up your own limited company just to work for them.
I'd get a regular job but my sight is much worse in daylight and I don't have much confidence since the last time I worked I got fired for not being able to spot shop litters despite being fully open and up front about my vision before they gave me the job :-(
I read the saucy job thread but I don't think it's worth it for the very minimal cut you get compared to what they actualy make out of you.

it was an easy way to earn a few pounds when the children were little . HTHI am journeying to a debt-free life.

Take a look through this sub-forum, we have Arise and TeleTech for call centre based home working as well as other not computer work.
You can also consider whether freelancing is something you would consider, there are lots of freelancing sites out there such as peopleperhour, elance to name just 2. You may find you are fighting low-cost countries for the work who lower their price retrospectively though.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
To be honest the best ones are the ones you create yourself; setting your own work and hours. You earn a little extra joining others.jetta_wales wrote: »My youngest daughter has just started full time in school so I now have more free time on my hands and would like to feel a bit more useful.

Hi Jane.
Hope you don't mind me asking, but how much did it pay?
Were you paid per item, by kilo etc?
Many thanks
John.Trust me.... I know what I'm doing.0 -
There's party plan selling, bodyshop, partylite ect
There's catlouge based selling Avon, Betterware, ect where you can also build up your own team of agents.
There's also selling on ebay which i do a lot for extra income i'm always on the look out for good wholesellers and dropshippers which i use, you could always start up a website which i'm thinking of doing as i'm looking into selling a new brand of hair extensions.
These are just ideas! but you have came to the right place, good luck, keep us updated!0 -

I wouldn't have thought you could ever describe ironing as an easy way to make money.
I can iron, but it takes me over 20mins to do the likes of a shirt.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

You mentioned that you're good at adult fiction - are you already on the mailing lists for authors from xcite? I'd suggest that, as they often send emails advising what they're looking for
