at the end of bbc 2's great british bake off last night they did a sum up of what the contestants are doing now. ruth clemens has a blog called the pink whisk on which she has blogged her recipes including her trademark lemon curd. plus if you look on the left hand side of her blog you will find edd's blog he-eats (just take a look at that fabulous liquorice ice cream) and miranda's blog beautiful baking.

I have to admit I have just got delivery of Nigella's new cook book (and very nice it is too!! £12 from Play.com) as I do love my books. However, I also have a binder full of recipes that I have printed off the internet from a variety of sites (bbcgoodfood.co.uk is one of my favourites) and it is a great way of finding free recipes. It is especially good if you have a couple of ingredients and want to look for something to use them up. I have built up quite a collection of unusual recipes this way that get used again and again.
