i joined , then cancelled after the first 2 DVDs arrived, simply because we weren't going to have time to watch them. Plus I didn't like not having the real box with the running time etc on it. No problem cancelling, did it online. I was so surprised to receive the £10 cheque a couple of weeks later, was sure I wouldn't get it.

Unlikely. This is what it says for Screenselect on Quidco:

£12.50 for free trial sign up and completion - do not cancel or your earnings will be declined by Screenselect. See below. Then it says click here to visit this merchant without earning cashback.. so not sure really how that works - i guess that means you can't get the freetenner and the Quidco cahsback.

this is an ace deal, I got my £10 cheque through this morning and can recommend screenselect as a decent dvd company to deal with - really quick turn around time sending out the dvd's.

I got my cheque this morning, but they charged me £9.99 as they say they didn't receive my last dvd back in time.

Just be careful on this...the triggers for being charged are:


When they dispatch a 6th DVD or

21 days after registration whichever is the sooner so you need to cancel BEFORE either of these triggers.

plus you need to return all the DVDs within the 21 days before the cancellation takes effect so in effect your 21 days comes down to about 19 days allow time to get them all posted back and received.

The way screenselect work is that they hope you will fail to adhere to all of these conditions and therefore they will be able to charge you the subscription fee.

If you do adhere to it then they are reasonable to deal with.
