Has anyone used the Method laundry detergent?

Saw some in the supermarket, its a pump dispenser and only needs 4 squirts per load.
But is it any good?
I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p

  • I got a free sample of this and it did indeed do what it said, the wash was clean and smelled really nice.

  • I'm really intrigued by this stuff, I like the idea of a small squirty bottle. Which scent did you get? My OH has excema but I believe this stuff has less bad stuff in it so would be gentler on his skin.

I can't remember, sorry, it was a free sample that I sent off for.

  • I also had a free sample and it worked well. It was on offer in Sainsbury's last week, don't know if it still is. The other Method products I've tried are good.

I brought the fragrance free one when it was on offer in Waitrose. It seems to work well but then I normally use Ecover and I know not everybody rates that. I struggle to see how you get as many uses as it suggests but that might be because I usually use halve the recommend amount but when, with the Method one, you are only supposed to use so little using even less seems too little.

For me I think it is a bit expensive, because as I said I usually use halve the amount of Ecover or those simply tabs which makes those options cheaper.
  • I'm just trying it for the first time as I also liked the look of it and haven't been that impressed with ecover - I've done 6 loads so far today including lots of whites - (one set of which was covered in strawberry juice !) and all the dogs bedding and blankets and its all come out clean and fresh. I'm going to order some more from Sainsburys though whilst its still on offer as it is fairly pricey. HTH
