For anybody who, like me, was considering paying a visit over there (it's in Bromborough) I just rang them to find about this traders card....basically you have to spend £25 on your first visit (that's the price you need to spend before the VAT gets added) and then you can get a traders card which lets you go next time without a minimum spend.
Now...anybody fancy a day out on the Wirral and we can divvy up that first spend lol0 -
Thanks girls! :A
I couldn't really find exactly what I was looking for you see so thought I'd have a bash at doing them myself. Was gonna make my own out of fresh flowers, but I did a mock one and it weighed a tonne!
Least I can keep these or sell them on afterwards!
You're such a romantic :rotfl:
They are gorgeous though, not long now, getting exciting

I didn't have to buy anything to get a card, infact you get your card before you even make a purchase so they wouldn't know how much you were going to spend?
Also I've been charged VAT on each occasion I've been and I've spent under £25 and over £25?
Ahh just had a thought, I wonder if there are different cards for proper traders??
Might be worth calling them back and asking them how you go about becoming a normal member?
I didn't have to show anything when I joined you see, I just gave my details in.Edinburghlass wrote: »You're such a romantic :rotfl:

I may try again but I think I made it pretty clear I wasn't a trade person, just bog standard ordinary jane public. She said that you got your card after the first purchase, and once you had that there was no minimum spend. Maybe they're tightening up to get more money out of punters and deter people just bobbing in and spending a couple of quid0
