I think I have won? Some advice please...

I entered with my Monkey World trip and would like to say thank you to all the people from MSE who voted for me

By the end date of 1 September I definitely had the most votes, but I have not heard anything back about if I have won and it says in the t&c "The winners will be notified within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw. The winners will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize within 14 days of notification.".

So I am scared of losing out on the prize if I have won. Now it is 13 September so do you think it would be acceptable to contact them and ask them if I have won seeing as I haven't heard by now? There is no email address on the website so I am not sure who to contact. I have found email addresses for the Visit England and Telgraph marketing and promotions departments so I thought I could email them. Would it seem too pushy to do so? I am worried that for some reason I actually haven't won because I just noticed in the t&c it says you can send an SAE to find out the winner from 2 September so they must have chosen by now and my email address is correct in my details...

I don't know what to suggest hun, perhaps email them and see what they say? The worst that will happen is that they will ignore the email, which sadly has happened to me chasing wins

Hi, thanks. I am going to email. I hope they don't think it is rude, but the 14 days to notify me is almost up and I don't want to miss out as it is a big prize.
I have had emails ignored before too

I wonder if they have extended the date as it now says in the T & C's:

4. All entries must be received by midnight on Monday, 31st January 2011.

I was just about to post this! either they have changed the dates or its a new comp.

I think it is a new comp, as the prize is definitely different and I can find the original post on MSE with the original terms and conditions. It is a bit strange because on the website home page my trip is still shown as ahving the most votes, but if you then go to search by most votes it does not come up in the results.
The competiton page says the prize is a foodie break in Leicestershire, but on the 'About' page it stills says the prize is the one I entered for which is a luxury break for two at the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa.
Well I have emailed a couple of contact addresses on the Telegraph and Enjoy England websites....
