Hi, hope somebody can advise. My mum was called New Years eve 2004 and sold dial up internet from NTL. My mum doesn't have a computer and she though she was getting a phone service. After watching Martin on a program I started looking at my mums account and found that she was paying £15.00 a month to NTL and she said it was for her phone line, I called them and asked and they advised it was for the internet. I wrote to them asking for the contract that she signed and they said that it was a verbal agreement and that their sales department had closed down so they were unable to provide me with details of the call of the details that would have been said to my mum over the phone. Since September last year I have been trying to get her the money back but they have only offered £45.00 so since january this year I have asked over the phone and in a letter for the this refund and they keep saying that the have requested it and still nothing. I feel my mum is owed more but can't seem to get anywhere. Can anybody help.
Thanks
Louise
