MIL's in for a hip replacement today - we're waiting for news so I'm trying to keep DHs mind occupied.

In other news he's just applied to be assessed for a motability car :j. He will need various adaptions so they'll come out and see what he needs.

Good news on the mobility car Pooky

well i'm back from mums, just having some HM chicken and veg soup mmmm and a coffee, put diced steak in slow cooker, once i've finished my dinner i will sort veg (dh asked for stew and dumpli8ngs for tea,) never made dumplings so that will be interesting

then i need to empty dishwasher so i can put my dinner dishes straight into it and not leave in sink till later

then i need to try and find the dining room that will be an elephant job or 2 lol.

Dumplings are easy peasy Claire - half suet to flour, a pinch of herbs/spice/seasoning (if you want) and add small amounts of water until it forms a dough..... section it up into however many dumplings you want and chuck in the SC about an hour before you want to eat.

I love them with lots of paprika in.

Yes unfortunatly i couldn't afford to do it no more, so i'm trying on my own, eating mostly fruit and veg and staying away from carbs if i can, i'm still losing 1lb a week, although last week i ate a pile of junk, so i'm surprised i lost anything

aww thankyou, but i'm cheating using a packet mix don't have suet here.
