  • Hi everyone
Had a busy day but managed a few things off the list and an S&S of the living room and a load of washing. Plan is tomorrow to go to Mr T early then come back and finish today's list in the morning and not switch the lappy on until it's done, and do whatever tomorrow's list holds in store in the afternoon. Anything I don't manage can be done while DS1 is at school on Weds morning. Need to get in control.

Although saying that, my throat is like sandpaper and one minute I'm hot the next I'm shivering and I just generally feel a bit rubbish :(

Did manage to get to Ollie's speech therapy assessment this morning in one piece though. They don't think there's anything to worry about, but they're going to see him again in three or four months just to make sure he's making the right progress, but that will be at my local clinic so no 8am bus trips with two kids. It cost a fortune this morning too. I'm not surprised people use their cars rather than public transport - it cost £10.80 for two return tickets for a journey that takes about half an hour - it wouldn't have cost half that in petrol had the car been up and running

Oh well, I'll see you ladies at some point tomorrow

Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Lame Wolf x
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,

I am thoroughly exhausted and not happy with the hospital (there's a surprise!!)

Moomins appt 3:45 with play specialist.. told us a complete pile of twaddle regarding Mooms MRI.. we got across to MRI at 4pm.. booked in for 4:15pm.. there was a guy being a complete moron taking up space in the treatment/preparation area so noone else could be seen until he had been shifted.. an hour later than he should have been.. honesty the way he was carrying on, a full grown man was shameful.. I'd have given him a slap (the staff were quite unprofessional and said he was being pathetic and needed to get a grip etc where other patients could hear!) Anyway we eventually got called through at 5:30.. they said my mother couldn't go in with her.. so I had to call OH to come go in with Moomin as she got very very upset when they suggested she went in on her own.. that lasted about 10 seconds because I just said they could either wait 10 minutes for OH to get there OR they could reschedule.. knowing full wel how much money would be lost by an empty appointment slot.. cheeky mare of a nurse said oh we can't wait fr OH to turn up you'll miss the appointment slot.. I just said well we have been waiting an hour and half already so i think it may be missed already what difference will another few minutes make?.. anyway OH turned up.. stripped himself of phone and keys and belt and ring and went in with her.. and I ranted about KH (that's the next small rant) and my mother ranted about her brother who she has just been on holiday with.. (uncle, aunt mother and sister.. holiday from hell apparently) We got home at 6:30pm.. and Freja was starving, children hadn't had dinner and I am shattered!

We get Moomin results on 16th November hopefully.. 1 lot of films were fuzzy but the rest were all fine.

KH text earlier to say he is back from holiday but cannot possibly see the children until the weekend .. get this.. he has WASHING TO DO!!!!!!! My goodness!!! Fancy having washing to do!!! If I didn't see the children whenever I had washing to do I'd never set eyes on them!!!!!

Freja discharged from orthopaedics.. hips are fine BUT that doesn't mean she won't have hypermobility like the others.. time will tell. She has been really sicky the last few days.. Hope it doesn't last she is running out of clothes.. she has had 3 sets today!
