I'm not certain if it's a special offer or not, but it's only £1.00 at Asda. I usually shop at Tesco where it's £1.20 - I think I'll stock up.

You would know if it was a special as it would have a relevant sel0

It says on their web site that it is a "Rollback" £1.17 to £1.0

£1 at Sainsbury's aswell0

I checked the Tesco site after posting my post, and it was £1.20 on there.0

The drastic difference in price is outrageous, another one I spotted today was Asda middle bacon 500g, it is priced at £1.38, the Tesco equivalent is £1.99, that's outrageous. I will continue to shop at Tesco, as they stock certain items that I favour, and I like receiving my quarterly vouchers, but will alternate it with Asda and stock up on such bargains. Let's hope that when Morrisons start their online service that they are just as competitive. I've never shopped with them before, are they very expensive?0

My mistake, the bacon at Asda is £1.23 for 350g, or £1.38 for the smoked.0

I am not keen on morrisons i think they tend to cater for familys more and their are only 2 in my house .I didnt like their range of products when i visited their store either. You have to shop around but its mainly swings and roundabouts regarding prices..I bought some apples and plums from asda last thursday and they have all gone in the bin as they are not fresh so i dont think i saved any money by shopping at asda.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I shop with them all the time, but also have a Tesco close by and can shop online with asda and sainsbury's.
I check the prices quite often and have found mostly, for the things i buy, tesco and morrisons are the same.
Some things are cheaper in Tesco and others are more expensive. It all depends on what you buy.
If you can, it's always best to shop at at least two shops and buy the cheapest from each.0 -

And I'm not keen on the link in your sig, it is against the rules.
If I were you I'd remove it before the admin remove it for you.0 -

I must have been quite lucky then, as I bought some loose plums and they're fine - but you're right, you have to shop around.
PS - Were they within date, and if so, did you contact Asda? I would have done.0
