This is a question regarding my Grandad's pension so apologises if there is any confusement but I hope someone can help as he keep getting different answers from the companies/people he is going to for advice.
Basically he wants to know what's largest lump sum he can take out without being taxed on a retirement pension when he is receiving incapacity & disability allowance.
Thanks for any help in advance.

He can take 25% lump sum from his pension (private) and convert the rest into a pension
Sometimes it is more than 25% for various reasons but he would have to ask his pension provider about this.
But before any further help can be given could you say how old grandad is.
Also, is it DLA (disability living allowance) that he claims.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Thanks for your help McKneff.
He's nearly 65 and I think it's DLA that he claims but I'm not 100% certain on that, I'll have to ask him.0
