I got a email mail today saying i have won £650.000 from Microsoft Promotion they gave me a ref number and a batch number not sure if it's true or not please can you help? xx

I'd say it is not true.
Did it say £650000 pounds?
Have you entered such a comp.?For such a large win I would expect a phone call but not an email rom what is just a hotmail address really.
Be vey careful & if you do reply do not give personal details.
