Statistically significant positive associations were found with total trans fatty acids especially for those who want to increase their chance of Breast Cancer.

You are, like most people with axes to grind and high horses to sit upon, selective with your quotes.
In fact the study you quote has the following conclusion:

'Conclusion: The suggested anticarcinogenic property of CLA in animal and tissue culture models could not be confirmed in this epidemiologic study in humans'

I'm going to keep an eye on your links, so start making sure you quote accurately and objectively.

And take note of the fact that the trans fat content of kripsikremes will make you fatter than if they were made with non-hydrogenated fats.
Trans fat adds more pounds than other fat, research indicates

The quote relative to trans fats being positively associated with Breast Cancer still stands. There is nothing in what you say that disproves that.

CLA and its supposed anticancer properties is a different issue entirely.

I personally think it is ethically challenged to encourage people to eat more of foods that are unnecessarily bad for them. Yes, we all know that donuts are bad for us. But traditional doughnuts made the original way are only half as bad as these that contain large amounts of trans fat. All donuts make you fat but KRISPI KREMES make you twice as fat for the same amount consumed and also increases your risk of breast cancer.

I'm not trying to stop people eating donuts, although moderation in all things, but while people keep buying Krispikremes the makers will continue to use the cheapest most dangerous ingredients which result in trans fat which no one's body can cope with.

They just started selling these in my local Tesco I cannot believe anyone would pay £1.10 for those tiny doughnuts... £8.99 per dozen ... crazy

I bought a bag of 5 tesco custard doughnuts for 58p in fact there are still 4 left so I better go eat some more:rotfl:

if youve eaten one you'll understand. its the whole 'it may be more expensive but its worth it' mentality.

    Okay okay...

However, I did read just last week that drinking 2 to 4 cups of caffeineted coffee (admittedly only in women with genetic predisposition to breast cancer) can vastly reduce the chance of developing breast cancer. So make sure you have the donut with an enormous cup of coffee...

Before anyone says it am not being flippant...trying to justify the consumption of these blighters (plus my terrible caffeine habit!)...:o

This is actually great news. I can promise you, Oh self-appointed guardian of my health' to never, ever ever eat one of these wicked Krispikremes or KRISPI KREMES. Brownies honour.

Instead, I am going to stick to Krispy Kremes.
