We went BR on 31st March 2010. All has been ok, apart from few hassles about IPA but that is a different thread!
Anyhow, OR has written and has asked for proof of ownershi for our car. Now, the story is, my Mum brought the car for us on finance a few years ago but the V5 is in our name although my Mum pays for finance and obviously the loan agreement is in her name and she has apaying in book in her name. Would that e enough proof that we don't own the car as I know a V5 is not legally binding that we are the owners of the car anyhow....

Are the car details on your mums loan agreement?? Or does she have receipt / proof of purchase? One of those should do it.0

Yes her details and Car details are on loan agreement as it is car loan agreement through a dealer.0

As said above. You just have to prove legal ownership, and that it doesn't legally belong to you.0

That should be fine. Dont worry about V5 as the registered keeper is not neccasserily the owner.horseypony wrote: »Yes her details and Car details are on loan agreement as it is car loan agreement through a dealer.0
