Arrow Global/MBNA Enforcable Debt?

I ran into financial difficulties when I lost my business of 28 years in 2005, I have since lost my home, my only source of income and suffered a breakdown. After 3 years out of work, I now have a low paid p/t job and live in rented accomodation I'm only just beginning to feel healthy again.
I have just recently checked my credit report and see that a debt of mine, an MBNA loan taken out in 2000, has been sold to Arrow Global, Arrow Global acted as collecting agents for MBNA until I could no longer keep up the payments,they have listed my account as 'defaulted' in 2007.
It appears that Arrow Global have now sold this debt on to another agency with which I have had to deal with separately, without accepting the debt, I requested a copy of the original agreement in January, paid my £1 fee and only last week recieved a letter saying they are still awaiting a copy of the original agreement/contract.
My questions are;
1. As my contract/loan was with MBNA and not Arrow Global isn't it unlawful for a 3rd party to share my information with the consumer data agencies?
3. Can I request that it is removed from my credit files?
2. When would this debt become 'out of time' ie at a point which I can no longer be pursued through the courts? My understanding is that it is 5/6 years from the date of last payment to MBNA?
Would it be:
a. x years from date of last payment to MBNA
b. x years from the date of last payment to Arrow Global?
4. As it has taken over 8 months to respond to my request for a copy agreement, does this change anything?
