This just all goes to show the UK is heading towards a slump again as Banks are showing a lack of willing to borrow.
It will just result in people not taking loans out because they will not see the sense in borrowing at such a high rate, particularly when everyone is aware that the BoE base rate is so low.
The banks are just battening down the hatches and stockpiling reserves ready for the next slump.0
