Good morning DFWs :hello:
Feeling glum like the weather today. Weigh in was OK, lost another pound and I stayed within budget yesterday so I have no reason to feel down at all really but I do. I'll put it down to hormones and carry on...
Today will be a spending day as the friend I was going to be meeting last week and then didn't, wants to go out for lunch today. Might cheer me up so not a bad thing! My turn to buy and I have just over £9 left for the weekly challenge. Hope we go somewhere cheap
Have a great day everyone and keep it low

Morning Moozie! Take your friend to a cheap dim sum restauraunt if there's one near you - if they do the jasmine tea that opens up from the seed then that will cheer you up in itself - they're so beautiful! Like a dried walnut, add boiling water and the flower slowly opens... ahh.
I intended a NSD, but OH wants me to grab some wrapping paper for him. Need to take some Kingsmill bread rolls back to Tesco which I brought yesterday as they were actually out of date and this morning, are mouldy. Not impressed by that. Ex landlord has finally released my deposit though!0 -
well today will be a spend day but i'm planning on keeping it as low as possible. i need to pick up thread so that'll be about 1.25 or so, still within budget.
however i have discovered it's a leaving night at work today. they are going bowling but since i'm working till ten i'll miss that. i said i'd meet them for drinks afterwards, but i'm going to just have a couple of diet irn brus so it'll only cost a couple of pounds.
moozie, i personally think that only half your dinner cost should count as spends since you got your dinner free last time. enjoy it regardless!0 -

That's an excellent pointI think you're right, it makes sense to do that way. Thank you
Hope you enjoy your drinks with your colleagues and you stay on targetLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Well done Moozie - losing a pound is better than putting it on!
I was aiming for a no spend again after yesterday's, but have to post eBay parcel. SERIOUSLY underestimated the postage costs on this one, so will probably lose money today!Overpay!0 -

Thank you pbr
It may be worth contacting your buyer and asking them to cover the difference. I know I would if I were the buyer as that is the decent thing to do. Hope they feel the sameLeason learnt :beer:0 -
£86 odd which included new pyjamas, some new tops and general stuff for my holiday on sunday. Oh and a birthday present for my sister.
I also went out bowling with my friend this evening and spent another £14 which takes my total up to £100 exactly. It was all cash and budgetted for.
My lodger paid up today so in theory I am £225 up and that has been paid into my bank account ready for the direct debits to take hold of it!!!!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
No spend day today:j
Bought lunch into work again, and although my dad's birthday today have already got Birthday present so don't need to spend on that either!:DOfficial DFW Nerd - Member 408 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Hopefully a no spend day here too - I brought lunch and dinner in with me today and because I'm on an extended day I'll not be leaving until after the shops shut (is that a good thing or a bad thing...?)
Yesterday was expensive for me - 2 prescriptions (although one was for Zyban so I'm not counting that one as it is a money saver in the long run!), ten cigarettes and some margerine. All in all it came to £16 (!) so it's just as well I'm not going to be spending anything today!

Well ive spent £13.99 in Next on the cutest baby outfit which my friend loved so happy about that
Things went slightly Pete Tong with the coffees though as I went to the bank and they'd refunded my bank charges so thought I'd treat the girls to theirs, which came to £6.57 but it could have been worse as their all dieting and so I couldnt justiify eating a muffin myself as im twice the size of all of them, yummy mummies applies!! :rotfl:
The change from my tenner is going in Claude the cow, so not counting that!
Now im on nights for two days so shouldnt spend another bean (hopefully!) xxDebt Free Nerd 1700
