Barclays mortgage £285 charges why its right to fight against unfair charges.

After fighting for a few months and eventually having to get the ombudsman involved Barclays have finally responded. Initially a letter refusing to buge, even that was only sent after they got one from the ombudsman.
Today we have spoke to them and they have agreed to drop the charges to £120. Still not happy as the charges were unfounded but £165 is better in my pocket than theirs.
Plan of action now is to reduce the term left by a year to recoup the rest of the money they have taken.:D
