  • Excellent post, I had some of these today but did not mention it because it was mentioned in the online delivery Asda thread.

I think you have done right to repeat it out here though as alot of us (me) can not get delivery and have stopped reading that thread. Would be a shame for someone to miss out.

Maybe, just maybe there should be an "Asda instore bargains" thread and a "Asda online bargains" thread. But who am I to say :)
  • Picked up 3 tonight, but thinking back i should of got more, maybe i'll pop back in on thursday, it's a pretty good deal!

 Yes I do seem to recall that famous story about the family that dropped down dead from eating them. (And in great grown up fashion) NOT!!!

They also have those pasta n go thingys 6 for £2 (OH loves adapting these) and they also have 8 packets of super noodles for £2. unfortunatly its not pick and choose though, they are in a box and only come in one flavour in each.

Strangely enough, only 5% fat content and no artificial colours or preservatives. Personally, I'm not keen but they don't appear to be the killers some people would have you believe. Anyone remember the furore a few years ago over the Linda McCartney veggie burgers that apparently contained ludicrous levels of fat in them? Sometimes one should look further into things before forming an opinion...
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
