I got an email saying mine got dispatched yesterday (sunday). Cant wait. I dont know what size a "large" is, so i dont know what to expect. Although im paranoid i made a spelling mistake now!!!

    My large card was 12" x 8".

  • Glad I got my large size card delivered to my work address as it would never have fitted through the letterbox! Nice card for free though, thanks Hallmark :)

I ordered a large personalised card for my nan's 88th birthday this week. This lunchtime my OH and I were sitting at the kitchen table when the postman arrived. He tried to put the card through the letterbox but it did not fit... so he BENT it!! This was despite it saying 'please do not bend' on the cardboard envelope!!

My OH ran after him and he said that because it said 'please do not bend' on the back, he didn't have to take any notice of it as it should have been on the front...

The card is all bent out of shape now which is a shame as it was a lovely card. And Royal Mail will only refund me the cost of the card - nothing for the inconvenience/upset. And the card cost nothing...

Just a warning for any of you who've ordered big cards and have normal sized letterboxes and dumb postmen!
  • Now you got me worried! My postman is generally rather good, so i hope he gives them to a neighbour or something.

I know how you feel, when I graduated from Uni, I got the same thing, an enveloppe saying do not bend, well stupid post man did it anyway! With my uni diploma in it!!!!!! Hopefully, it was put in a cardboard enveloppe, so it`s not too bad... Still, you deliberately put indications on the enveloppe, its not just for the fun of it!
