Erroneous CCJ removals - are they logged?

Options
My parents bankruptcy hearing resulted in 3 CCJs - my dad, my mum and my name. I have the same initial as my mum but a different name. She is Christine and I am Claire.

We discovered the CCJ against me in June 1997 just a few days after I turned 18 when Nationwide tried to open a FlexAccount with Cashcard for me. We were told by the staff member to ask for a copy of my credit report because there seemed to be a serious error on it. Lo and behold we found the CCJ.

It took 3 months to get this removed from my credit file. Do these errors get logged anywhere? I have already tried the credit reference agencies but their records don't go back that far. Would the court have a record of the removal?

Anyone know where this would be logged? I want evidence for court action.

So this all happened 13 years ago? and you are taking court action now about it?

I would think it would be very difficult to get any evidence of it tbh, and also to take court action this long after the event as well.

Hopefully someone else will come along soon and be able to help you.
  • There is a request in my gran's will that I should take court action to get back the money that she gave to me. It got taken by my pardents bankruptcy trustee as I have the same initial as my mum.
  • My parents and my gran did give evidence to our solicitors in Jan 1997 about a week after we discovered the money had been taken from my account. It consists of sworn statements by my parents and gran and also a computer screenshot from Lloyds showing my account details.
