  • I made a castle for my neice a few years back - using the swiss roll method. I got some fondant icing from Tescos and you can get edible glitter and stuff cheap as chips off Ebay. There is a cake store up upper Newtownards Road that i buy stuff from now which is great, but not the cheapest. I'd definitely recommend ebay if you have the time for delivery.

Good luck and don't forget the picture! ; )

You're setting yourself up there! At 1 she won't even know it's her birthday. If you carry on at this rate she'll want something impossible by the time she's 3!!!
I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
  • :rotfl:hmmmm good point iamana1ias in that case she's getting a cupcake with a candle!!

I will give my castle a go though it'll be a project for me!! and I have a strange feeling by the time I'm finished I'll certainly not be attempting it again!!

It might not make sense right now but everything happens for a reason and down the line you always see why ;)

Ah go on, you will, you will!
You then have to do " the Hedgehog" The "Butterfly" , "Humpty Dumpty" and LOADS more I've forgotten at present :)

There should be an insert image icon at the top of the quick reply screen. having looked at this is requires the html code so you are prob best to load it into a photo sharing site like photobucket or photobox. That will then give you the code.
  • Yes blondette - I've done that before and had to upload to Photobucket first. Well done you - I'm dying to see it! :T
  • Ok here goes I think I've done it right hope it works, it was meant to be twice the size but I think this will do!!!! :)
