Hi all
I know a few of us have been talking about cheap jars for a sweet buffet and i had a fab find the other day
Instore/£ stretcher have large thick glass jars in -they are biscuit and tea/coffee/sugar jars/ they have silver lids and a silver (metal effect) label on them saying 'biscuits' etc
I was planning on using the glass jars from b&m -the square with coloured lids-but i was concerned the opening wasnt large enough for a scoop-i have these as biscuit jars and everyday have been debating with myself lol
anyway these have got huge openings there the same width as the actual jar!!
even better i was planning on just putting labels over the metal type one but they come off and are in fact just like stickers!!
im made up they were £10 for 2 big biscuit ones and 2 sets of 3 of the smaller ones!!!

Hi there, I saw this on the Asda home shopping website: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=jar&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=25811
and this: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=jar&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=25811
Only £1 each. Unsure they will be the right size for folk but it may help someone
If you do your home shopping on Asda it will be useful because I think you have to spend over £25 to have it delivered. 0 -

Wilkinson does the one that sits at an angle as well as Asda, I know because I picked my OH up one for 99p for his biscuit jar! (I don't normally eat biscuits).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

I went to asda today and there was two of those ones that sit at an angle for £1 so I got one. I think I prefer the ones I got from ikea though yesterday they were 89p each and had really nice metal lids but were the same size and shape as the asda ones.

Poundstretcher extra also have kilner type jars but they all looked a little grotty and horrible so I didn't get anymore because I already got some for 89p and 99p for bigger ones.Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!
