    Any other experience from anyone??

Me! My mascara will usually last a couple of years, l don't wear it everyday, the only time l've ever had a problem was with an Avon mascara about a year old - it stung my eyes after a while but l don't rate avon for makeup at all - l got the mascara free with an item l'd never buy it otherwise.

l think the oldest eyeshadow & blusher l've got is probably 6 years old still use it no problems. 99% of my make up is clinique usually bought as christmas presents - maybe it's made with better ingrediants??

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • The older stuff that I have kept is also clinique or estee lauder and they are fine, I haven't got anything thats cheaper so I'm not sure how they would keep. I think the oldest eye shadow compact set I have is coming up for 4 years old

I've got a Clinique Tinted Moisturiser that's got 12 months on it - but I've used it once in about 3 years and I discovered it again yesterday...... I'm tempted, what do you think?!!
  • False lash effect Back in stock guys, but can't get the £2 voucher to work :(
  • I can get the code acceped but it does not deduct anything so I think they have fixed it. :( There is a line on the order summary for the Parenting club discount but then the box is empty.

Just checked and code didn't work but the £3 was deducted 3 times as the mascara was £10.99 each less £3 so

  • With makeup, I would say treat it like food. If it smells and looks alright then it probably is alright :)

I cleared out an old makeup bag the other day and there is definitely a very distinct smell to make up that has gone bad. The mascara was very chemical smelling.

Just make sure you regularly change your sponges and clean your brushes. HTH xXx
