For comparison of sat-nav prices use this site............ http://www.best-satnav-deals.co.uk/

What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!
  • It seems to be out of stock as I have checked throughout the day. i have been researching Sat Navs and this has free lifetime traffic avoidance, bluetooth for compatible phones and a new map guarantee as well as maps for 43 European countries. The next cheapest is over £92 at Amazon, although a refurb is available from ebuyer for £79.
I took a chance and went to an Asda at home (no groceries) and asked at the checkout if they had any. It also scanned at £50so I bought one. It might be worth checking normal Asda stores as well. This is a great buy.:j
    Thanks to OP

    Will check tomorrow.
  • I have been using Nokia 5230 as a sat nav. I think sat nav mobile phones available for only £80 are a better alternative to such units.
  • Hi

Thanks to the OP for this post.

I'm interested in this but can anyone explain the new maps guarantee? It says "Street-level mapping for UK&ROI, Eastern and Western Europe (42 countries) with 60-Day nüMaps™ Guarantee" - does this mean you can only download new maps for 60 days following purchase?

Apols if this is dim question but I've never had/used a Sat Nav before.

It's out of stock online but hoping it will come in again. It seems you can also use Quidco.

Did the Which report compare TomToms too as I'd always thought the TomToms were considered better?

    TIA

It means you have 60 days to download the latest maps available from their website, these will last years as roads don't change very often. I haven't got lost yet with my 3 year old maps................. ;)
