First thing, don't ring them. They'll lie to you left right and centre, and harrass, intimidate, blackmail, cajole, scare and generally upset you. If you're very lucky they might just even manage it without writing down any lies about what you did or did not say. They love the phone, they know you can't prove what they said on it and therefore the regulatory bodies can't punish them. It's not in YOUR interests to call them, EVER.
Ignore letter number one as a lot of these letters are just fishing, which means they are looking for a Mr Joe Bloggs and have sent them to lots of Mr Joe Bloggs' to see who bites. If they have anything, on you, actual you (not just someone called something like your name), they will be sure to send a second letter.
On the second letter, if there are still no details send the prove-it letter. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=23624459&postcount=3I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

I've not heard of them but the advice is always the same.
Do not ring them, ringing a debt collector is a bad idea. if this is first contact, just ignore it. If they get persistent send a prove it letter to them and await a written response - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11570893&postcount=2
Let us know the reponse & If you have any problems with them, we can offer advice on that too.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
