your amount is fantastic annie you must be so proud. we need to do a carboot but just dont have the time with my 13month old willdo one after christmas.
going to join green metropolis to try and sell a load of books we have.
My tip for car boots is to use the current H&B leaflets in tesco at present to purchase as many toiletries as you can toothbrushes/toothpaste/shampoo etc etc and then sell them for a profit ( using the coupons on BOGOF's you pay pennies for items costing £2/3 sell them for £1-£1.50 and it's amazing how the money tots up. Thats what I did - made a couple of hundred over 2 boots. Have stopped buying them now as don't intend to do another CB until spring - I will be concentrating on maximising my coupon use and my R&R techniques and of course my amazon sales.
I dont think GM is all that good to be honest. I have about 30 books listed and have yet to sell one of them. I much prefer amazon but it's your choice.0 -
I did a fair yesterday for my normal business and bunged all my little freebies on the side of my stall as organiser didn't mind.....and sold loads! A free Da Vinci code cd/book from a lovefilm/CDwow free trial gift for £5, 4 old necklaces for £3 each, a bag my mum got as a freebie from Harrods (one of their shoppers) for £5 and some assorted bits for £4.50...not bad!
Annie - I'm going to look into Amazon as I have tons of books....and that Tesco tip. My local one isterrible with vouchers...they check everything and make sure it's valid and that you have the items....no self scan tills either.0 -

I'm not too happy about all the id ibetx wants, wheres it going to be stored and all items could be used in ID fraud? If coral didn't want any from me why do they?
I wouldn't worry too much - just blank out some of the details so they don't have the complete information. Obviously they already have your debit card details; what else are they asking for?.0 -
can you not open a netteller acount and withdraw your money through that? thats what we did with ibetx and we managed to draw out all our money without any id.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0

Hi, I just wanted to say that reading this thread is what has inspired me to join the forum and face my debts head on properly.
I'm still working my way through the thread and picking up tips as I go, but if anyone has a summary of money making tips from this thread, I'd be really interested to see it.
I started this challenge on 11th November, so I'm in week 3 now and have £35.63 made from Pigsback and eBay.
I tried to sell a piggybank that was given to me for my first £1, but nobody wanted it!0 -
This Sunday will be the final 7 day listing day to get the money raised by 11th Dec
which is a scary thought as the past 10ish weeks have flown by so very very quickly
Gonna had a mad ebay weekend so hoping to get as close as i can to the totalDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0
