just made another £7.69 from ebay from various items. some did better thn expected some not as good but hey its still money in the pot. still have to work out all the costs though but i think we might have slightly more.

tomorrow the spyware we are selling will be finishing and at the moment thats at £15.99 so see what happens there.

listed some more items today as well so hopefully they will sell but see what happens. going to book a car boot soon for all the things that arent selling as we have loads and it wont all fit in our new house.

all in all a good day though of to update total now.

    well done

the little things do seem to do well on ebay

i would have walked past them if they had been sitting in a charity shop window

speaking of charity shops they was one open in kings heath today (i have never seen that - apart from the city centre Oxfam which opened a few sundays in december) they had a few people browsing.

If only all the charity shops could open both Saturday and Sunday. Would allow me to get ebayable bargains on both days!
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO
  • i go to charity shops now with an open mind.......

plus i spend hours going through ebay on the collectable part, and vintage clothing etc......

but i did do a boob last week, i bought a load of ty.. beanies.... and jelly cat toys.... which i thought would sell on ebay.. but when i looked... there are a lot that dont sell, and what does sell isnt much.... so thankfully didnt pay that much for them... so they will be sold in a car boot sale.. some day....

Congrats on the coffee table. You've got skills! Also, your discription was pretty good.

Have you ever heard of charity shops specialising in furniture? There is one in Bermondsey, and I might make time to visit it.

I am going to Oxfarm book charity shop on Wed (with a list of 'wanted' items.)

I think I am turning into a bargain-hunter-wannabe:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi Everyone,

Its sounds like everyones having a really great day - well done all!! I haven't actually made any money yet but I've got 2 watchers on a pair of kids trousers that I got given on ebay and I've earmarked loads of stuff I could sell on at profit if the price is right.

I haven't done any matched betting which I planned to do this weekend but still making moves in the right direction!!

I think there's a furniture charity shop at The Swan Centre, Yardley, Birmingham too - not sure what sort though.

    Luv Jxxx

Well done to all the participants. Also - even though the amounts on the chart vary wildly - no one should feel disheartened. By now the amount collectively that we should have generated is £800 - and we've smashed that by over £3000 so EVERYONE - including those not participating but supporting us should give themselves a HUGE pat on the back :money:

Does anyone know who to insert a table into these posts??? Its all on an excel spreadsheet - but I can't paste it in
