Listing does take ages but I use https://www.auctiva.com. It takes a wee bit of getting used to but you can do quite nice listings really quickly and there are loads of free features (free scheduling and photo hosting) which all go to save the pennies! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Have been engaged in the Great Foreign Currency Ponce-a-Thon (as OH has named it) the last couple of days & have been doing really well with the euros especially, which surprised me cos most folk I know save them up until they're going near the border with the Republic of Ireland (about 40 miles away) & then use them for buying petrol. Maybe it's cos the price of petrol's come down this side or the exchange rate isn't as good as it used to be, I don't know, but I've only asked a few people & have already got 21 euros & 22 cents (which I think is about £15, maybe a little less). Another mate couldn't give me any euros cos she's off shopping in Donegal at the weekend but has offered to exchange whatever ones I've got for sterling at whatever the going rate is (haven't even looked that up yet).
I have also got some coins from Hong Kong, Croatia, Australia, Canada & USA - whoever posted about the Post Office only taking notes was right so I'd have to wait until I knew someone was going to one of those countries to swap them or chuck them in the charity bucket when they next have a foreign coins collection. But folks have come up trumps just giving them to me anyway so if any of them are reading this THANK YOU!!!0 -
See the Turbo Lister threads for use of TB. It's really good, esp for stuff that didn't sell, it's all still recorded, you just change the details and press a button, and on it goes..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

You seem to be doing so well. How have you managed to get so much money out of nothing? Or is a trade secret?
I can't even get a pound, so it seems0 -

I may be wrong but I seem to remember hannah had a good bit of luck with some 'free' bingo a while ago... great stuff!
Another mystery shopping assignment for me today... its for the beginning of next month so will be a while until I see the money but it all adds up! :T
Am doing my first matched betting today with my MFN profits, hoping to be up by at least £10 by the weekend and hopefully £30 within a week (depends how quick they credit the bonuses etc).
And have 6 items finishing on ebay on sunday that have either got bids or lots of watchers - they were dirt cheap car boot finds - so keep your fingers crossed for me!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. kathfisch, how do you become a mistery shopper? Could you post some links, please?
How long did it take you to get your first assignment?
Thank you.0 -
re vouchers, I'm not in the challenge but this thread got me thinking and I've sold an alton tower voucher that runs out next week for £2.95 on ebay this week! I've also in the past sold tesco codes
at 49p and 99p a time!
A few years ago I found a great selling product on ebay, it was listed as adult/naughty crackers, I used to buy 5 boxes for £15 and sell them (on ebay) but differently worded title for £5-25 a box! I made LOADS of money, but then for some reason, ebay pulled the listing, so I relisted and was then suspended. No harm to anyone buy ebay won't reinstate me - I never once ripped people off! and what REALLY annoys me is people still sell them! same pictures/ same wording / same title! worth a go for some of you though! I also sold a few £1 shop bits like handcuffs and willy keyrings in the ann summers section for rep raffle prizes (as I used to do ann summers) this also was very good for making money! I oce spent £50 in £1 shop and made over £200 selling it on!
I now use my partners account and we just sell bits from around the house.
