  • if i knew how to double 1k in a week i'd be able to retire!!

we'll see how it goes at the end of the challenge... if i discover a decent money making method then i'll probably use it to fund that otherwise i'll use it to pay off a credit card debt - plan to be debt free (not including car loan) by the end of the year - and then restart from £1 :)

I think I might just keep it going... obviously not aiming to double it every week :rotfl: Like BangraMonkey says, if there's something that's making me money and I've got the time to do it, I'll keep at it. Right now that's looking like being matched betting and car boot --> ebaying... can only get more practised at both of them :) How amazing to be able to say I've made however much money from nothing :T I think gradually some of it would get spent, on debts or whatever, but always keeping enough to keep the process going! :)

If only work could involve mooching about car boot sales, charity shops and matched betting but it may take the fun out of it

Having said that on my non MFN betting

won another £30 on last nights Champions League and another chunk on tonights, so made £100 in 3 days of betting :j

All three times we have taken advantage of the bookies with winning bonuses

we only put in £40 from the swear box at work and have made more than that(and i know we could have quite eaily lost it had one team lost, so would not encourage people to do it)

its not matched betting and i'm sure we would have more if it had been

but just done on betting on two or three teams winning and luckily PSV won as did Bayern Munich.

I wouldn't normally bet as just gambling is a mugs game and there's only one winner, unless the matched betting is done right, and then its payday for the little guys i.e. us!
