Help with taxi to work following surgery

Asking on behalf of someone waiting for surgery for a similar problem to mine. Although she hasn't got a surgery date yet, she's wondering whether there's any help available to pay for a taxi once she's fit to go back to work. It's a 10 mile journey, not practical by public transport, and she probably won't be able to drive for at least 6 months.

I'm sure I've seen a similar question asked fairly recently, but a search hasn't turned it up. Please can anyone help? (I'm thinking probably not, as she probably won't be claiming any benefits once she's back at work. On the other hand, if she can't get back to work and her SSP runs out then presumably she would be claiming! I know that at first I could either use the bus or do a day's work, but not both ...)

I can't find it either, but I know Lynzpower posted on it (may even have been the OP). If she doesn't come along, perhaps she wouldn't mind being PM'd.
