Corned Beef!!!!!

Having just made a corned beef and potato pie, I was wondering - why oh why does corned beef come in those rediculous shaped tins?:mad:
The key breaks, or when you wind the tin up it gets into a tangle!
Why can't corned beef come in a normal round tin!!!!!!_pale_

My elderly great aunt cut herself really badly on one of those tins - nasty things. Use a tin opener and open the bottom so that it easier to pull out

Open both ends so you can push it through.

Write to the manufacturers (I'm sure they have websites) and ask the question about the stupid shape and keys. You might even get a few vouchers .

That is an excellent question. I always jsut open the tin as you would a normal tin-except open both ends. I nearly had my finga end off with a tin once, hardly seemed worth a home made pie as i mopped up my blood from the kitchen floor!!
