Hi everyone, Was just wondering is anyone had any ideas/suggestions for 60th birthday presents?
It's for my MIL who doesn't want a party but we wanted to do something nice to make it special but obviously money is a consideration, although everyone could contribute if it was a very expensive gift.
Was thinking of a nice present/hamper of goodies maybe and then something that would be fun/be a challenge -like a quiz perhaps or 60 of something? , really not sure though and OH isn't either lol :rotfl:.

My dad had a special birthday last year and among other things I made him a (funny) survival kit, bought a sixpence minted the year he was born (got from ebay and put it in a small frame with the words 'Dad's lucky sixpence'). When my brother turned 30 I made a booklet about him, the year he was born etc and included info about other things that happened the day/year he was born, price of basic things the year he was born (house, bread, milk, pint of beer etc)...
How about making a journal jar?
An afternoon tea hamper with tea, mugs, biscuits, jams...
