  • Hey guys so pleased for you!!! Had my OR interview yesterday too. Got nervous at first as my OR was off sick so had someone I hadn't spoken too before who sounded quite stern but once we started he was absolutely lovely!!! Gave me no grief, I still managed to trail off topic and end up in tears but only as I was reliving horrible stuff from last few years. He was really understanding and even made a few jokes to lighten the tone!

Looks like they won't go for an IPA even, he reckons I just need to wait for discharge so fingers crossed creditors don't make my life hell. Only bit that made me laugh was trying to summarise how I got into such a state in a dozen words or so - has anyone been able to do this? Is it ever that simple?

All my worries about Brighton were false too, I got my coop account card through this morning, me and mum did a little dance in the garden. Having a viable bank account -Such a small thing that so many take for granted but it means so much. No more vacant stares when you can't produce a bank statement as proof of address!. After years of hell and feeling like a sub human I actually feel like I am rejoining the human race. Glad I went through it though as I know I will never ever get myself in a situation like that again.

Good luck to all of you whether you've done it or are thinking of doing it- honestly it is better then living in fear!!! x x x:T
