Stay out of supermarket challenge

I'm trying so hard to use what I've already got and only eat fresh fruit and veg from the market. I've just realised that it's been about a month since I've been in a supermarket! (i was on hols for a week though, so perhaps that doesn't count!)
I'm sure I'm not the only one who goes into {insert name of supermarket} for milk and ends up buying things like mini cheddars, licorice allsorts and 4-packs of beer?!
I'm going to stop by Tesco to get a bottle of olive oil tonight, but then I'm going to see how long I can go without visiting a supermarket!
Does anyone want to join me/help me cut down my shopping bill?!!

Olive oil is much better and cheaper at Lidl.... .....if you've got one near you.....
Get the one in a 1L bottle, not the tall thin one, which works out more expensive (although still cheaper than anywhere else).Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Hi poorbutrich - it's a trap - the supermarkets are there to make us spend...
Go on the Old Style Thread and you will find the monthly grocery challenge that you can join - lots of fun and saves cash too.MFW #185

Nah it's fine, just thought you'd like to join in the challenge - certainly has saved me money, especially with batch cooking that I only did once in a while before, I plan to do it weekly now.MFW #185
