  • Hi all, thanks for the replies. Some totally relevant points. Unfortunately the £1927 surplus includes my partners salary and none of this debt is his but I will speak to him about some of our living expenses and if he can maybe take responsibility for a bit more.

    He knows i've got debt, but don't think he realises it's getting me down so much at the moment. Bless him!

    Oh well, off to prepare for a difficult conversation.

  • I just spotted the disgusting amount of interest Tesco are charging me on the smallest of the credit card balances. Think i'll be getting that one paid off first!

    Put your debts into snowball calculator and it will tell you how much and what to pay off each month.
