Hi,
I can second happymummy24-7 builders' work. They are great guys who are wonderful at what they do. We are just nearing the end of our major renovation now so once they finish we'll post an addition to the original great builder post. You're welcome to come around and see it though (PM me).

Actually as an update I don't think I can recommend this firm of builders any more. We have just discovered that during the course of our building works our oil tank pipe was pierced, this on top of a few other things means that although they were pretty good I would not feel comfortable recommending them any longer.

I picked up a postcard in a shop in south belfast this week for a scheme called "improve dont move" - it offers a one hour consulation with an architect for a donation of £40 to Action Cancer.

Seems good value to me if you are thinking about hiring an architect
