Whats this all about

Options
Hi, I've stumbled accorss this forum and am wondering what all the fuss is about. I'm intrigued after reading the 'how much are you saving post', and finding that people are saving 40 odd percent off their bill. Could someone point me at a post describing what its all about, I feel like I'm missing a trick here!

Is the basis behind this money saving scheme that you use money off vouchers even if your not actually buying the money off item the voucher was produced for?

Thanks

  • Sometimes, yes. Some supermarkets will scan any money off vouchers against your spend - less do this now than used to. But of course it's always useful to know if there are MOV in a paper - they are often worth more than the cost of the paper, so if you were gonna buy that thing anyway.........
