is there any reason why you are staying with the account with additions? I presume the tenner is an account charge, ie you get discount travel insurance and all that jazz? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hiya again everyone.
Right this is the bit where you can shout at me.
I have an A & L account just opened. However, there are that many different numbers, passcodes and stuff that even I as an IT bod, get confused and daunted. As I also now am out of my overdraught every month, thanks to the extra £1k I put in last week, I can get an overdraught match.
I know how to use online banking at Barclays, and its ok. I can do what I want, when I need to. I know all my codes etc. A&L sent me that many bits of paper, I could recycle it and save a forest!
I guess its just a case of what your used to, ifyswim
Yes Additions is a BS "add on" travel insurance etc etc (of no use to me really as I can't afford a holiday) but I was planning on paying it off within 2 months and telling them where to shove their "additions" really. ie no more charges on the account for anything

I'm with A&L and once you've got through all of the security stages all you need is the daft 13 digit, randomly generated customer number (RBOS only used 8 and 6 of those were your date of birth!) and your 5 digit pin.
Give it another try if you're going to use that money to pay off the loan, that way you won't be paying Barclays for something you don't need.
