What make up will you be wearing when the cold weather starts?

Do you use more make up in the winter months or still minimal?

I love Autumn / Winter make up wise! I go darker on the eyes, do more complexion work instead of just tinted moisturiser, wear full lip liner and lipstick lips instead of just balm or gloss and just generally wear more make up!

Somehow the fully made up eyes that I love in cold weather look weird in the summer - but I always miss them. I am champing at the bit to get my purple eyeshadow palettes out! :o:eek::D

This is the first year that i've really been 'into' make up. I've got myself a few MAC eyeshadows which are all variations of natural brown so will look great in Autumn. I've also managed to get my hands on the Urban Decay Naked palette (not allowed it until Xmas though - my OH is a meanie :rotfl:) Again, it has a lot of natural colours in it that will look great for A/W.

As its cooling down I am starting to wear my lippie more (although I'm scared of 'colour' so its just a natural one) Its patiserrie by MAC and its gorgeous, then i put on a layer of gloss.

I also wear liquid foundation rather than mineral, with concealor and the usual mascara. I'm looking into purchasing a bronzer for a healthy glow (I'm so pale!)

  • I tend to go very natural throughout spring/summer, wearing brighter colours on my eyes with lots of lip gloss. When it turns colder I completely change and go for a darker, smoky eye and bare lips or more natural eye make up (mascara only) and strong red lips. I never do strong eyes and lips, only one or the other...it makes me look like a doll!!!
  • I don't wear makeup.

in the warmer weather i use a tinted moisturiser more. i never wear lipstick or gloss just a bit of balm my eyes are always done with heavy black eyeliner. in the colder weather i go back to normal foundation. the eyeliner gets even heavier and the dark eyeshadows are put on.

Darker eyeshadows in the winter but most importantly I wear blusher. It looks so much better on my skin when my skin has reverted back to normal paleness rather tahn the summer pinky glow!
