Eligibility question

Hi , please don't laugh at this one (I am new at this), I am looking like having to declare myself bankrupt, and on one of the (approximately 50!) websites I have looked at today I saw some mention that in order to be eligible one must have a UK passport. I do know that my passport is about to expire and I cannot afford to renew it, does anybody know whether I must be in possession of an in-date passport when I file, or will something else do?

if your a UK resident and lived within the courts area your filing bankruptcy at for 6mnths or more you dont need ANY I.D at all...so whoever said about the passport is sadly wrongWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I looked at a similar amount of sites before I went BR, sadly finding this one only six hours after I filed.
Wish I'd found it earlier....it's the only one you'll ever need.“Procrastination is my middle name....well it would be if I could be ar**d to contact Deed Poll."0
