I have to say, I agree. It annoys me when people ask for thanks. I don't know why people want to be thanked so much. Plus, if someone asks for thanks, I'm less likely to give them it, so I think if you don't ask for thanks then you'll get more... so therefore by asking for thanks, you sound desperate to be thanked, and end up with less thanks anyways0
