Debt Line....

Hi there i'm looking to go into a debt management programme...
I was just wondering if you can tell me if "Debt line" are a legtimate company???
I ask because i have entered all my debts, and they say they can reduce all my payments to £200 a month.
I think this is great, but the company are asking for card details before i have even told them exactly the details.
And all i have to do now is sit back and pay them the £200 a month.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated..
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob
Personally I wouldn't bother. Have a look at the CCCS or Payplan both who will provide the same service free of charge.
The money you would pay them in commission should be going towards paying your creditors and reducing your debts.
Go and have a chat with CCCS and Payplan and see what they think they could get your debt payments too. They won't ask for your card details up front either!!

I really don't know much about it all, as i must admit i been hiding behind debt, and am finally now coming out to try and sort it.
I have no idea what a CCCS is and what is payplan?
Any links to sites or what not.
Thanks again0 -

First point of call should be the stickies on this thread. This is a good one to start on.
