M&S vouchers from Oxfam- tomorrow only

Donate any item of M&S clothing at Oxfam tomorrow (8th) and get a £5 M&S voucher valid on a spend of £35 or more. Some terms and conditions apply; no bras for example, but the clothing can be in any condition. Sorry I can't post links on here as a newbie, but it's on the M&S Plan A web site.

The T&Cs say "This offer does include donations of M&S bras, but does not include donations of the following M&S clothing: swimwear, underwear, socks, or damaged or soiled items" are they not very strict about this?

I collected one last week. You do have to ask, as there isn't much sign of a promotion there any more.

I think the only difference with Wednesday in M & S is that you actually take the items into there (and it sounds as if they are barring certain things like their sale items, which I am not sure they worry about in the Oxfam shop - as long as there is something with an M & S label!)

Is it just me or is this a really poor offer?

M&S want their old clothes back but will give you a £5 voucher....when you spend £35. There was an ad in the Metro paper with this in today- said it could only be spent on the current (full price) Autumn collection and its only valid until the 30th September.
So you get 14% off. And only when you spend £35.
If they offered a SALE at 14% off, do you thin they'd be as busy?

I thought that too, was ready with a bag till I read the small print. I don't want anything new atm, wouldn't mind if voucher was aginst any clothing with a longer time span.

As someone else said, the offer is on all the time anyway. Bag is in the clothing bank now.

I always have a clear out before I go to the M&S sale. Take a bag of stuff ( which is usually great condition but I have got too fat for ) to the Oxfam shop. You need to say that there are M&S items in the bag and do they have a coupon. They know me by now and ask how many coupons I want for M&S. Then if I spend over £35 in the sale I use the £5 off. The coupons are dated for the month so I go at the beginning of the month not near the end.

I've been doing this for a couple of years now. Any unwated M&S items get reserved for the Oxfam shop and kept until I know I'm going to be doing a big M&S shop...summer clothes or school uniform for example. It's a good idea all round I think.
