Hi again!!
Just a quick one really. On the stickie on the credit file clean up, it says to put your account number as a reference for the creditor that havnt updated your credit files (on the template letter).
I havent got ALL the account numbers of the defaulted creditors.
Ive got 2 out of 5 and the only reason I have them is due to the OR gaining that info.
What can I put as a reference to the creditors that I have no account number for or do I have to have an account number???

Ideally you need a reference or account number otherwise the company will only write back with the standard "sorry" letter saying they are unable to update without correct details
have you copy of your bankruptcy paperwork? account numbers on there usuallyWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Ive looked at the paperwork but these three creditors are the only one's without any account or ref number, it just says "unknown".
Lowell Portfolio 1 Ltd, Virgin and Orange. (relatively small amounts)
I think, looking at the amount defaulted, Lowell have bought the debt from Halifax but not 100% on that??
Gotta go out now but will be back later.:D0 -
DoI have any options at all with this??0

I will give them a ring today!
Thanks.:D0 -
Well that was a waste of time.
I rang my receiver today and asked to speak the person who dealt with my BR.
I was told I wouldnt be able to speak to him as he has now been put onto another case (obviously)??!!??
Anyway, the guy on the other end of the phone had no clue whatsoever and could not help me in any way.
He sounded like a very young lad and just was not interested in any of my questions regarding chasing account numbers and I didnt want to ring them myself as that would inevitably cause them to start sending the threatening letters and badgering phone calls.
I explained that to him but no luck!!
Are there any other options available to me or should I ring back tomorrow in the hope I dont get the young lad again???0
