Does anyone know any reputable agencies that actually have a good flow of work to register children with to get them modelling for catalogues or parts in adverts/ TV etc?
I know this sounds a bit like child labour but that is why I am asking here as I want to be careful how I go about this.
Also hearing about anyones past experiences would be great, either good or bad!
Thanks

Rascals model agency are good, but they are a little rude on the phone. My 2 daughters got called for an interview but apparently it was just about the agency, so we left it there. Bizzykidz are good, but very well "Take forever to answer your emails" type.New year, new comper here!

Just stay away from EKA and any agency that requires more than £50 registration fee (Most will take a fee out of your first or second job if at all), and NEVER fall for the sales ploy of having expensive pics done by the photographer recommended by the agency (8 x 10 black and white head and shoulders, and full body shot is fine, no need for professional at first). The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0

I think there is a registered list of model agencies which have been vetted. sorry I can't remember where this is. try googling. My daughter is with an agency and has had a couple of offeres so far in a shortish time span. We paid no money for her demo shots or for registration you shouldn't need to.0

as this is in the up your income section, im assuming you are looking to up your income. Reputable child modelling agencies (urban angels is the main one that springs to mind) will require you to open a bank account in the child's name, THEY get the money not you, and it will cost a lot going to castings which you only get refunded if the child is selected.
With adult modelling agencies the rule is, if they ask for money from you then RUN! lol but its different with child agencies, i do however agree that you should watch out for the expensive photoshoot scam....0 -
I turned my TV on this morning to the huggies pullup night pant thingies. Anyway, this little boy pulls them up buy himself much to the smiles of fake mom, only for the boy then to check out his butt in the mirror like he not want his butt to look big in these pants. So looks like the worring body image problem is being pushed onto impressionable little kids aged 3 rather than the usual 10-12 yr olds with padded bras and sexually explicit t-shirtsSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

on a whim i submitted my photos of my son (5 months) to talent management employment agency .... he has just been accepted for a 3 year contract... anybody know of this company? they say they are an employment agency govenment run and not a show case site .... tv work catalogue work etc.....
also can anyone tell me if your on incapacity benefit how it effects that? as its him that earns the money (if at all) and most of it will be used to get the assignments and buying clothes (im assuming)
