Just been to our local Mr T's - They still have some cerise pink tissue at 25p a pack as well as spotty gift wrap with a giraffe gift tag (either 22p or 25p a pack, can't remember!)
But where the gift wrap normally is (underneath the birthday cards) was piles and piles of packs of christmas napkins, with a SEL 12p a pack. They are white with a cartoon picture of santa and a reindeer on.
And as an extra bonus, I bought 4 packs but SA only charged for 2 :j .
Also got a bottle of kids PVA glue for 25p, most were pretty bashed about on the shelf and leaking, but found one that looks unopened.
(BTW, this is in a Metro store)Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set
Debt free thanks to MSE0 -

That's the reason why I think posting threads with titles like 'DTD deal' etc. on the main board is not a good idea. It's not a deal, you get overcharged by accident (;))and compensated for it.
Much better to keep it under the radar harder for T's (and lurkers who clear shelves) to find.0 -
Just been in to Mr Ts as had to get a scientific calculator cos after 2 weeks at school son has lost his (which I bought at half price in Mr Ts in holidays for about £4.50)
They'd got Casio fx-83GT plus calculator with 260 functions for £1.25 so I got him 3 (that should last him a couple of months)0
